MSHA Electrical Training

Electrical Recertification

This training meets MSHA qualified electricians to meet the requirements of Part 75.153 (g) of Title 30, Code of Federal Regulations. This meets the electrician’s needs for recertification, in order to retain qualification.

This MSHA electrical training class will highlight the regulations that cover mining electrical safety, the training requirements for working with and around electricity at mines, some of the most common mining electrical hazards, and ways to reduce or eliminate hazards.

Mines present unique challenges for electrical safety. Working with or around electricity exposes miners and other onsite personnel to a range of hazards, including electric shock, arc flash, fire, and explosion. Comprehensive safety training helps prevent electrical injuries and fatalities.

Initial Electrical

We provide initial electrical certification training for students wanting to get their State/MSHA electrical certification. We also do reciprocity electrical training for Kentucky and West Virginia electricians wanting to work in Virginia.
