Continuing Education

The Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) requires continuing education training on various codes in order to renew a trades certificate. 


Exam Preparation

The National Electrical Code exam can be intimidating. If you are preparing to take a licensing exam, our exam preparation courses will help you fine tune your understanding of the National Electrical Code, electrical calculations and the use of the National Electrical Code book to get you ready for a passing score on your exam.

We can help you pass your exam:

Are you needing to obtain or renew your Virginia Journeyman or Masters tradesman license? Our courses give you the knowledge and confidence you need to pass your Virginia National Electrical Code exam the first time or to maintain your state license. We offer online exam preparation and continuing education classes.


Electrical licensing in Virginia is at 2 levels, Journeyman and Master. To become either a Journeyman Electrician or a Master Electrician, you must pass the examination portion.


We offer courses that will assist you in obtaining and maintaining your state license.


DPOR Notification

We notify DPOR of your credit hours by the next business day after the completion of each class, sometimes even the same day!
